Pyrite is such an interesting stone. In the 16th and 17th centuries, pyrite was used as an ignition source in firearms. During the Victorian era, pyrite was used extensively to make marcasite jewelry. The ancient Incas used Pyrite for meditation and divination.
In the beliefs of the Thai people, pyrite has the power to prevent evil, black magic or demons.
