Ammolite is found primarily in the province of Alberta/Canada where Starborn partners with local miners in order to export the registered fossils legally. The stone is composed of the shells of ancient sea creatures called ammonites, which went extinct around 65 million years ago. The mines are up to 100m deep to get to the desired geological zone.
One of the most striking features of Ammolite is its iridescent coloring. Depending on the angle of the light, it can display a range of colors, including red, green, blue, yellow, and orange.
